  A Memorable Saturday: Celebrating Fathers at School with Fun and Games On Saturday, 21 st June, Huda Integrated School came alive with laughter, cheers, and unforgettable moments as the school hosted a "Fun Day for Fathers" — a special event dedicated to celebrating the important role fathers play in the lives of their children. The event took place on the school grounds and brought together fathers, and teachers for a lively day filled with games, sports, and bonding activities. The Day Begins with Warm-Up and Excitement The event kicked off at 9:00 AM with a short welcome speech by the headteacher, who thanked all the fathers for showing up and emphasized the importance of parental involvement in education. After that, everyone participated in a group warm-up session , led by the school’s sports coach. Special Event Focus: Celebrating Cultural Day The school is eagerly preparing for an upcoming Cultural Day event — a cherished occasion that brings together students, teachers, and parents in a vibrant celebration of diversity and unity. This event is designed to foster a sense of belonging among all learners by encouraging them to embrace and take pride in their cultural heritage. In previous years, our learners showcased different cultures, mostly focused on East African traditions. Each class gave their best — preparing over weeks of practice, brainstorming ideas, and collaborating both as groups and individuals.
