Celebrating Creativity: From Thoughtful Thursday to Fun Friday Awards
At Huda Integrated School, each week is filled with exciting and enriching activities designed to inspire our learners, build their confidence, and sharpen their skills beyond the classroom. Our weekly themes—ranging from fun facts to riddles and competitions—create a vibrant atmosphere where learners eagerly look forward to each new day.
This past week, our journey began with Fun Fact Monday, sparking curiosity with surprising and educational facts that left learners wide-eyed with wonder. Tricky Tuesday followed, where students engaged in brain-teasing puzzles and challenges that pushed their problem-solving abilities. On Riddle Wednesday, laughter and excitement filled the air as learners competed to crack clever riddles shared by their peers.
Then came the highlight of the week—Thoughtful Thursday. Learners were given a challenge to put their creativity into words through poetry writing. From Upper Primary to Junior Secondary, three brave and talented learners stepped forward to present their original poems. Each poem carried unique perspectives and emotions, showcasing the depth of imagination our students hold.
Our Journalism Club team had the honor of listening and voting for the best poem. While all three poems were beautifully written and deeply moving, the one that captured the hearts of everyone was a touching tribute about mothers. The poem stood out for its heartfelt expression and the way it celebrated the selfless love and sacrifices of mothers everywhere.
To crown the week, the winning poet was recognized during Fun Friday Awards Assembly. Learners, teachers, and staff came together to applaud the effort, courage, and creativity of all participants. It was a proud moment not only for the winners but for the entire school community, as it reflected the values of expression, confidence, and unity we nurture in our learners.
At Huda Integrated School, these weekly activities are more than just fun—they are opportunities for learners to discover their voices, celebrate their talents, and grow in knowledge, faith, and unity. We can’t wait to see what next week’s challenges will bring!
